Request forms

When you send a form, we receive the data you enter: your name, phone number, email address if you provide it, your message and the details of your request (for example hire dates, vehicle, preferred appointment). We use this data to reply to you and to prepare an offer or an appointment.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box, and steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by email or by phone.

Your request is stored in a database at Cloudflare (European Union region) and sent to us by email via the email service Brevo (Paris, France). Requests are deleted automatically after 90 days. Correspondence that leads to a contract is kept in accordance with accounting obligations.

To limit misuse, we store a cryptographic hash of your IP address for 24 hours. It cannot be used to recover your address.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., United States). On every visit, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical data to deliver the pages and to ensure security. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and available website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Our partner’s vehicle offer (audaris)

On the “Cars” page we include our partner’s vehicle offer through the audaris service (audaris GmbH, Traunreuter Straße 16, D-93073 Neutraubling, Germany). It only loads when you scroll to that part of the page. audaris then processes your IP address and technical data to show the offer. The offer stores your filter settings in your browser’s storage, without cookies. If you send an enquiry through the offer, your details go to audaris and to us. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in showing you a wider choice of cars (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, for enquiries, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). audaris privacy policy: audaris.de/datenschutz.

Links to other services

Apart from our partner’s vehicle offer (see above), the website does not load any external content: fonts, photos and the map are hosted with the website. Links to Google Maps, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LuxAuto and AutoScout24 only open if you click them. These services then process your data according to their own rules. WhatsApp belongs to Meta Platforms; if you write to us on WhatsApp, Meta processes your number and your messages.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing. Write to us at info@rondpoint.lu.
